This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, customer mobile application, store application, or delivery application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us or that is generated automatically during your use of the platform:
- Personal Data: Name, email address, verified phone number (via OTP), and physical delivery addresses.
- Location Data: For the 6amMart system to function effectively, we collect precise live location data from customers (to show nearby stores and calculate delivery fees) and delivery partners (for real-time order tracking), even when the app is running in the background.
- Order & Transaction Data: Details of the items you purchase, billing details, payment methods (we do not store full credit card/debit card numbers directly; transactions are processed via secure integrated gateways), and delivery history.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to power our multi-vendor services, including:
- Processing, preparing, and delivering your orders smoothly.
- Enabling real-time communication and in-app chat/calling between Customers, Vendors, and Delivery Riders.
- Crediting refunds, tracking dynamic pricing, and managing the integrated digital wallet system.
- Sending automated order notifications, status alerts, and promotional offers via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, to complete your transactions, your data is shared within the 6amMart eco-system as follows:
- With Merchants/Stores (Vendors): We share your ordered items and delivery name to help them prepare your package.
- With Delivery Partners (Riders): We share your exact delivery address, phone number, and location coordinates so they can locate and deliver your order.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We share necessary data with integrated secure payment gateways and SMS/OTP infrastructure providers.
4. Data Security & Storage
- We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
- Account passwords are encrypted. However, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services.
- Users have the right to request account deletion. You can request to delete your account through the settings section in the mobile app. Once processed, your personal data will be permanently erased or anonymized from our database, except where retention is required by law.

Brij Express Cart reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the platform constitutes your agreement to the updated terms.
